2-6 players
Rummy
A multi-round melding game where sets and suited runs become public while hands and the stock remain private.
Goal
Go out by discarding your final card and be the first player to reach 100 cumulative points.
Turn Flow
- Draw exactly one card from the stock or take the visible top discard.
- Create any number of valid sets or suited runs, and lay cards onto public melds.
- Discard exactly one card to end the turn.
- Going out awards the total value left in every opponent hand.
- The stock recycles once. If play remains blocked, each player receives one final turn before deadwood scoring.
- Later rounds rotate the starting player one seat clockwise.
Legal Moves
- DRAW_CARD from stock or discard at the start of your turn.
- CREATE_MELD with a set of 3-4 equal ranks or a suited consecutive run of at least 3 cards.
- LAY_OFF_CARDS onto a compatible public set or either end of a run.
- DISCARD_CARD with one owned card after drawing; a just-taken discard cannot be returned immediately.
- After recycling, start or join an optional majority vote to end the round after the current turn.
Winning
A round ends when someone goes out or blocked-play resolution completes. The match ends at 100 points, and the highest cumulative score wins.
Current MVP Limitations
- No Jokers, wild cards, or multi-deck mode.
- No meld rearrangement or full discard-pile pickup.
- No configurable Rummy house rules yet.
