Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Syed Athar Saeedfor use of House Deck. You must be at least 13. If you are not legally able to enter this agreement on your own, you may use House Deck only with the permission and supervision required from a parent or legal guardian.

By creating or joining a room, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Analytics permission is optional and is not part of this agreement.

House Deck currently provides temporary private rooms, not registered accounts or public matchmaking. Room hosts control invitations and have limited controls to remove players or return a game to the lobby. House Deck does not promise that rooms are actively monitored.

Display names must not impersonate others or contain unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or deliberately abusive material. Do not share a room code with someone unless you intend to invite them.

You must not:

• harass, threaten, discriminate against, or exploit another user;
• cheat by viewing hidden state, sharing private hands, manipulating clients, colluding unfairly, or bypassing server-side rules;
• use unauthorized bots, automation, scraping, load generation, or reverse engineering to disrupt play or obtain private information;
• probe, exploit, or disclose a vulnerability in a way that risks users or the service;
• interfere with sockets, rooms, hosting, security controls, rate limits, or another player's ability to use House Deck;
• use House Deck for an unlawful, fraudulent, or commercial purpose.

Security concerns should be reported privately to the configured legal contact rather than tested against other users or published before the operator can respond.

House Deck is for recreational play only. You may not use it to place or facilitate bets, wagers, paid entry tied to outcomes, real-money or cash-equivalent prizes, staking, item trading, virtual-asset trading, or any arrangement where something of value depends on a game result. House Deck does not process bets, award prizes, or settle disputes about outside arrangements.

A rejoin token controls access to a temporary room seat. Keep it confidential and clear saved room data on a shared device. You are responsible for activity performed through credentials under your control to the extent permitted by law.

If accounts are introduced, additional account-security, verification, recovery, deletion, and suspension terms will be presented before registration. These Terms do not claim that account features exist today.

A host may remove a player under the controls available in a room. The operator may restrict access, suspend infrastructure access, preserve relevant evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

Platform-wide reporting, suspension, ban, and appeal systems are not yet available. They are a launch requirement before public matchmaking. Contact the legal address for an operator-level concern.

House Deck's original software, interface, text, and branding are owned by the operator or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal, non-commercial play while following these Terms.

Classic game names and underlying rules may belong to the public domain or their respective rights holders; House Deck claims only its original implementation and expression. Open-source components and third-party assets remain subject to their own licences, listed on the Licences page.

House Deck is an early service. Rooms are temporary and can be lost through disconnection, expiry, maintenance, deployment, software defects, or provider failure. Games, rules, limits, and availability may change. The operator may pause or discontinue all or part of the service and does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally compatible operation.

Lawyer-review placeholder: House Deck is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Canadian counsel must approve the final warranty disclaimer, exclusions, liability cap, treatment of indirect damages, and all mandatory consumer-rights carve-outs before publication.

Lawyer-review placeholder: These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without overriding mandatory rights that apply in your place of residence. Counsel must approve the forum and dispute process for a globally accessible service.

Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and may require renewed agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions are intended to continue to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of it.
