Go Fish

A collection game where players request ranks they hold, complete books of four, and draw automatically after an unsuccessful ask.

Goal

Complete more four-of-a-kind books than any other player.

Turn Flow

  • Two players start with 7 cards each; three to six players start with 5.
  • Choose another player and request a rank that is already in your hand.
  • If they hold that rank, all matching cards transfer to you and you ask again.
  • If they do not, the server draws one card for you from the fish pond.
  • Drawing the requested rank lets you continue; otherwise the next eligible player takes a turn.
  • An empty hand replenishes at the start of its turn while cards remain in the pond.

Legal Moves

  • ASK_FOR_RANK targeting another player and a rank in your current hand.
  • Tap any card in your hand to select its rank before asking.
  • Go Fish drawing is automatic and never a separate player action.

Winning

The game ends when all 13 books are complete. The player with the most books wins; equal top scores share the win.

Current MVP Limitations

  • No house rules or multi-round scoring yet.
  • No bots, jokers, or two-deck mode.
  • Drawn card identities remain private.
